About Our Offley Hoo Longhorn Beef
We are confident that the beef we produce is amongst the finest you will ever eat. We are almost organic in our farming methods and every animal is carefully selected, hung for a minimum of 26 days before being expertly butchered, packed and labelled in order for you to receive the finest quality beef possible.
Producing beef of this distinction from our fields to your fork takes well over three years from conception and each stage is carefully monitored to ensure we get it right every time.
Our Longhorn cows utilise 600 acres of extensive parkland, they are truly free range.
Traceability is second nature to us, and we can tell you exactly how each and every animal was bred.
Longhorn beef is gaining a reputation nationally for its exceptional quality, flavour, tenderness and taste. As an ancient and traditional English native breed the beef produced remains a specialised product and there is simply not enough to supply the supermarkets. Although no longer classed as an official rare breed, the Longhorn is still a rarity out and about in the English countryside.
We are slowly building up our herd numbers and are trying to service the ever increasing demand for this delicious meat. Once again demand is overtaking supply, but please bear with us, we know it will be worth the wait.
We can now ship frozen meat in special boxes. Individual delivery prices are worked out depending on the volume and weight of the order.
